Keep Waking Up

Hey y’all! I know it’s early, but read this. God is soooo good! I’ve been feeling a way lately and I wasn’t sure how to put it into words. I haven’t been praying as much as I should be either. For a short while I was feeling like nothing was changing so praying felt a little pointless.

Let me tell y’all, I woke up this morning, right? As soon as I opened my eyes, I immediately felt a wave of reassurance. Reassurance that God still has His hand on me. Reassurance that Romans 8:28 still stands firm. Reassurance that I AM loved. Then I get to work, sitting in my car because I’m early, listening to Travis Greene. In the song he said, “my past can’t go with me as I walk into my destiny,” and that slapped me in my face. The song after that song was “Deliver Me (This Id My Exodus” by Donald Lawrence & The Tri-City Singers.

Y’all. The way I just burst into tears and praise was CRAZY! I don’t always get it right. I fall short more often than not and He still is coming through for me. Y’all, I—

I say all this to say, just keep waking up. Whatever you’re going through, I know it hurts. I know it feels like it’s never going to get better. Just keep waking  up. God didn’t bring you this far just to bring you this far.
